Ballet Folklorico HuehuecoyotlRide the rails south abroad a historic electric trolley to a fiesta of dance, featuring the Ballet Folklorico Huehuecoyotl (BFH), an in-residence ensemble at Elgin Community College. Relax while being whisked along the beautiful Fox River to the performances held in the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve at the end of the line. Delight in an outdoor program with something for everyone of any age - trolley rides, Hispanic folkloric dancing featuring students ages 5 to adult, outside seating in an enchanting location, and a most excellent food truck brought to you by El Mezcalito. Yum! Margaritas and beer will be available for purchase at the museum site and will be allowed on the trolley, however alcohol is not allowed in the forest preserve. |
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 years and under. All passengers regardless of age or size must have their own ticket.
Trolleys will be running between Castlemuir (the main museum site) and Blackhawk (where performances will be held in the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve) between noon and 7:00pm.

Unfortunately, due to the historic nature of the equipment, this event is NOT handicapped accessible.
All trains will board at the Fox River Trolley Museum at 365 S. LaFox (IL Route 31), South Elgin, IL.
A food truck will be available at the event from El Mezcalito. Additionally, there are a number of other restaurants in the vicinity in South Elgin.
