Fox River Trolley Museum Information Page

Sundays - From May 8 to November 6 - Hours 11am to 5pm

Saturdays - From June 25 through Labor Day weekend and Oct 8, 15, 22, and 29. - Hours 11am to 5pm

Holidays - Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day - Hours 11am to 5pm

Round trip between Castlemuir (South Elgin) and Blackhawk Station in the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve takes one half hour. Trains operate half hourly between these stations.

The Fox River Trolley Museum is not open on weekdays.

RATES (RIDES) Notes
One RIDE Adult $4.00  
One RIDE Senior $3.00 65 years old and over
One RIDE Child $2.00 Ages 3 through 11 years
Additional Trip add $1.00  
All Day Ticket $8.00 Adult, Senior or Child. Good only for person to whom sold on the date sold. Non-Transferrable.
Group Rate 20% off regular rate for age group(s) sold, minimum group size 20 passengers. Group must travel together.
