Halloween Hiawatha
Reserved seating after hours trains for all children with mummies and daddies, grand mummies and granddaddies. A campfire along the shores of the Fox await all dare to be there. BY RESERVATION ONLY.. Check this page in July 2008 for new dates, train times and information.

Polar Express
Chris Van Allberg's best selling book, "Polar Express" comes alive at the Fox River Trolley Museum. Board the "Polar Express" at Jon J. Duerr Forest Preserve for a ride north to meet Santa and experience the magic of the season. Check this page in July 2008 for new dates, train times and information.

Sunday, May 11, 2008 - Mother's Day
Celebrate Mother's Day. Bring the entire family for an enjoyable ride on an antique trolley along the beautiful Fox River and through the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve. Mothers and grandmothers ride free with payment of child's fare.

Sunday, June 1, 2008 - Spring Caboose Day
Ride in a big red caboose to the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve. Bring a picnic basket packed with "goodies" to be enjoyed in nature's garden. Kids love a caboose ride and the entire family can enjoy a quiet afternoon in nature's quiet place.

Sunday, June 15, 2008 - Father's Day
Bring fathers and grandfathers for a wonderful free ride with payment of child's fare. Make it a big family event taking a trip in one of our antique trolleys on the Museum's scenic line to the Jon Duerr Forest Preserve.

Friday, July 4, 2008 - Red, White and Blue Dollar Day
Have a great Independence Day at the Fox River Trolley Museum! All rides for all riders only $1.00. Plan a real family event at the Trolley Museum. A bargain for the entire family!

Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17, 2008 -
Riverfest Express - Trolley Fest

The Village and the Museum celebrate the long weekend along the Fox River with food, music, trolley rides, viewing historic rail cars and exhibits, carnival rides and FIREWORKS! Village celebration starts Thursday afternoon. Museum is open 11am - 6pm.

September 27 and October 5, 2008 -
Fall Caboose Days

Enjoy autumn colors along the beautiful Fox River and in the Jon Duerr (Blackhawk) Forest Preserve as seen from the Big Red Caboose - What a combination - come and enjoy!

Saturdays, October 11 and 18
and Sundays, October 12 and 19, 2008 - Pumpkin Trolley

The frost is on the Pumpkin and the corn is in the shock ... and Indian Summer reigns supreme in the "Ole Pumpkin Patch." Pick up a pumpkin at the patch and enjoy a small treat - great family fun at low cost.

Haunted Trolley

A spookfully spectacular ride on a haunted trolley along the Fox River. Kids in costume get a free treat.
